Date night

John and I were actually able to go out to eat last night....without the kids! Yeah! It was definitely overdue. We had a great dinner at Swagat Indian Restaurant. But, after 10 years of marriage, it gets more and more difficult to come up with interesting conversation. I was reminded last night of an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond (love that show), when Ray and Debra are out to dinner and they too have trouble finding anything but the kids to talk about. So they end up making conversation about the delicious bread and butter the waiter brings to the table. Well, last night for some reason our conversation headed down the wrong path. We discussed "What would you choose for your last meal if you were on death row" and "What would be your preferred 'way to go' ". What the heck?!? It was actually quite funny, but oh my! I think we need to double next time. Anyone interested???

Too funny...and a little sad. We're right with you though! That's why Peter and I stick to seeing movies when we go out! No talking required. :) But we'd love to double for dinner next time!

Sign us up for a double date. Our conversations get WAAAAAAY boring and random too. Hopefully the synergy of the four of us together we'll be able to come up with something fun to do or talk about. :)
