A song from the heart...

Wyatt loves Chicken Little right now....LOVES IT! It is a really cute movie with a really great theme. The thing I love the most about it though is that Wyatt loves to sing along with all the songs.

I love that my sweet boy who has so much trouble even getting a word or two out can sing along with a song like this! Music is such a powerful tool!

How awesome is this?!?!

Wyatt LOVES the movie Chicken Little. LOVES IT, LOVES it, LOVES IT! So on our trip to St. Louis he watched it about a hundred times. There is a scene where Chicken Little is singing the Queen song, "We are the champions" and Wyatt started singing it with him. This is HUGE...HUGE...Huge! (and it's also very cute) :)

St. Louis trip

We had a great time in St. Louis Easter weekend. Here are a few snapshots of what we did...

Saige and John went to the City Museum.

They climbed up and down, slid all around, and got totally worn out!

Wyatt on the lawn in front of the Arch. Tickets sold out quickly that day, so we didn't get to go up into the Arch. Maybe next time!

Wyatt was totally into the penguins! Do you remember the book Mr. Popper's Penguins? I think we may need to turn our basement into a penguin paradise.

Saige's 8th Birthday Party!

Slumber party for ten girls....what was I thinking?!?!?
Actually, it was a lot of fun and all the girls did really great. My strategy was to keep them busy. So here is a short synopsis of the festivities...

Sang Happy birthay to Saige and ate pizza and birthday cake.

Had a "follow the string" treasure hunt to find their goody bags.

Made paper flowers, I was surprised at how easy these were!

Here is Wyatt eating his gluten free, casein free chocolate muffin. Does he look like he's enjoying it? I think so.

This was about the cutest cake ever, I can't really take credit for it. The ladies in the bakery at Hy-Vee are awesome!

April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day!
