Wyatt's new favorite game

Why is it that all kids are fascinated by the law of gravity? They start by dropping things just to watch and see what happens, then they drop things just to watch their parents pick it up, and now Wyatt has discovered that the law of gravity applies when he drops things from the top of our stairs down to the main level in our house. Little boys are like little scientists-in-training, trying to make a new discovery or prove a theorem every day!

Danny, Jenika, and Baby Halle

This one's for you guys! I thought it was a cute picture! Can't wait to see you again!

Success at last!

Finally! I can upload pictures again! I still don't know exactly what the problem was before, but I went to try again today and....success! This is a picture of my whole family together around Christmas. With as many little ones as were in the picture, I was quite impressed that it turned out so well. All of my siblings and sibling-in-laws, and even a girlfriend-in-law are pictured here except for my bro-in-law Matt. It was so nice to have so many of us together again!

Blogging help needed!!!!

I need some help! I've ignored our blog for weeks now mostly because I have been so frustrated with some issues that I'm hoping my fellow bloggers can help with:

#1: I changed the format of our blog and lost the links to all of my friends and family blogs. Is there any way to retrieve them?

#2: I can't upload pictures. If I try to upload 3 or more, it will tell me the files are too big. If I try to upload even one or two, it tries to upload for FOREVER, then gives me an error and says it can not upload. Is this a computer problem, or a blogspot problem, or a user error (ME) problem? Any ideas??

I appreciate any input!

Kids say the darndest things

Saige has been cracking me up lately with some of her deep thoughts. This time of year, of course, they have mostly been focused on Santa. A few days before Christmas she said:
Saige: Mommy, I think Santa must have a dry erase board.
Me: Really, Why do you think that?
Saige: Because if you do something naughty, and you are on the naughty list, but then you do something nice, he needs to move you to the nice list!

Smart kid.

Then last night Saige and I went to go see Annie on Broadway at the Music Hall. It was a really fun night that started with Saige throwing a huge fit about having to wear a dress and tights (if you know Saige, you know this is not unusual), but ended with a lot of fun. We went out to eat together beforehand and this is how the conversation went:

Saige: Mom, I need to ask you a question that's a little bit hard to ask.
Me: Okay. (beads of sweat begin to form on my brow, I think, "Oh no, am I ready for THE TALK?" Could this possibly be the question she is asking?!)
Saige: If Santa leaves a kid a lump of coal in their stocking, that means they don't get any presents from Santa. But do they still get presents from their parents?
Me (to myself): sigh......whew.......I can answer this one.....
